How to disable chat previewing in Diablo Immortal
If you are tired of seeing the world chat box in Diablo Immortal, all you have to do is open the settings and go to Chat. At the top of this section are channels in chat preview. Anything you ticked here will automatically open the chat window and show you what people are saying if it’s available. For example, World is enabled by default, so anyone on the server can write to the chat and you can see their message.

We prefer to keep chat previews open only to friends and group members. This way we don’t have to deal with random conversations we don’t care about, but can still see things the people we’re playing with are saying. If you don’t use voice chat, the ability to communicate with your teammates via text is a good alternative.
After you disable world chat, the box stays there when you exit settings. To get rid of it, exit and re-enter the game. If you ever want to see the text threads of any of the areas you’ve disabled, all you have to do is tap on the text portion at the bottom of the screen.
