How to destroy Thornvines in Tower of Fantasy

There is no doubt that there are many different wild animals in Tower of Fantasy. They’ve got everything from giant mushrooms, monstrous birds, tarry onions, and everlasting vines that mysteriously love to wrap themselves around treats. It’s a mystery as to why Thornvines would happily stop you from snagging some of the valuable loot, but they just can’t seem to help themselves. This is how you can destroy Thornvines and get the treasure they are blocking in Tower of Fantasy.

How to Destroy Thorn Vines

You can usually tell when Thornvines is near you by seeing the supply pod icon on your mini-map. Thornvines like to wrap themselves around Supply Pods, which is unfortunate as Supply Pods often have good loot for you to use.

When you come across one of these plants for the first time, you will get some information about them. You can view this information in the future by clicking on the “!”. Icon under the minimap. This way you can look at any previous tips you may have received.

If you read the tips, the game will give you the hint that Thornvines can be set on fire. That’s good news. You get a firearm fairly early in the game. If you still have this weapon, you can use it to burn away the Thornvines simply by hitting them with the weapon. If there happen to be any Fire Cores nearby, you can pick up one and throw it at Thornvines to burn them as well. Don’t count on it, though, as most Thornvines don’t have Fire Cores nearby.
