Erasing your world in Minecraft is pretty easy. In Bedrock Edition you can do this by opening the game and going to the world list page. Find the world you want to visit and click the pencil icon on the right. This opens the edit settings for that world. Go to the Game Settings section and scroll all the way down. Click Erase World.

Make sure you want to pull this off. If you haven’t made a copy of the world, you will lose it forever. This might be something you really want to do if your game is running slowly, particularly on a Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, or Xbox.

Deleting worlds in the Java Edition of Minecraft is even easier. Just select the world and click delete before entering it. You can also delete the files directly on your PC. Press the Windows key and R to bring up the Run dialog box. Entry %appdata%\.minecraft and click enter to bring up your java files. Go into the saves folder and you will see your worlds listed. Just select what you want to remove and have it deleted.
