How to get the Vivillon Collector Badge in Pokémon Go

In order to get the Vivillon Collector’s Badge, you need to purchase postcards. You will receive a postcard every time you receive a gift from another player. Before you open a gift, the postcard is displayed and you can add it to your postcard book. Each series of postcards you collect brings you closer to a Scatterbug encounter.

When you’ve collected enough postcards, a Scatterbug encounter will appear in your Vivillon Badge progression, showing you what region it’s from and what pattern the Vivillon will be when it evolves.

After catching your scatterbug and completing the encounter, it completes this part of the badge, but you can encounter more by adding more postcards to your postcard book. The requirements increase, but each completed encounter adds another badge to your collection, giving you the opportunity to add more Scatterbugs and Vivillon to your growing collection.
