How to complete Hidden Secrets, Hidden Chambers in Rogue Legacy 2

Rogue Legacy 2 can be a tough game, especially when you’re just starting out. Until you’ve given yourself several permanent upgrades, you’ll have to contend with enemies and bosses that might feel a bit overwhelmed. Estuary Lamech, the game’s first boss, can be particularly annoying while you’re still learning the game. Luckily, developer Cellar Door Games has provided a hidden way to increase the damage you deal to the boss by 15%. Let’s see how to get this all-important boost.

This boost comes in the form of an insight that you can pick up. Glimpses are essentially quests you find throughout your run through the castle. The insight you are looking for is called “Hidden Secrets, Hidden Chambers” and is revealed by reading Lamech’s fourth memoir. These memories are found throughout the game and look like small circles of blue light. However, we’ve found that you might not really need the insight to pick up the boost.

What you need to do is find the Tower of Light area in the Citadel Agartha biome. You can see how it looks in the screenshot above. About halfway up the lantern ladder, you need to shoot a spell at the left wall. Nothing tells you exactly where to hit, so you might have to play around with it a few times. Once the wall opens, jump in, jump up one level and enter the door. This new area is where you’ll find the damage boost, which makes killing Lamech that much easier.
