How to unlock cosmetics in Warhammer 40k: Darktide

At the start of the game, you don’t have any customization options, but there are few ways to buy and earn them. You can earn cosmetics by completing challenges through the Atonement system, which involves completing specific tasks or unique conditions such as: B. hitting weak spots during an ultimate ability or simply leveling up your character. You can also buy cosmetics for your weapons and clothing from the Armory, which can then be applied to the appropriate weapon via your inventory. There’s also an in-game shop for cosmetics, which you can buy with premium currency you earn or pay for via microtransactions – although it wasn’t available during the pre-order beta.

If we’re talking about a more dramatic makeover like your character’s face, there’s an option for that as well. You can find the Barber Surgeon by going to the left side of the Mourningstar once you spawn there. Go to the end of the corridor and enter the door opposite the armory. Here you can change your character’s appearance, including hair, face shape, eye color, scars, tattoos, and facial hair. This is also not level-locked, meaning you can use it at any time for a small fee. However, you cannot change your backstory after creating your character, which requires a fresh start.
