How long does it take to beat Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin?

Final Fantasy games tend to be a bit longer. They’re JRPGs, after all, with deep stories centered around a large group of characters who set out to save the world (in general). While some Final Fantasy games are longer than others, all take several hours or more to complete – assuming a loose playthrough, of course. If you’re short on time, you’re probably wondering how long does it take to beat Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin – we’ve got you covered.

If you’re playing on Story (or Casual), watching all the cutscenes, and just lining the stages for the story, you can expect to beat Stranger of Paradise in around 15-18 hours. Action and Hard difficulties can increase this time, as you can accidentally take heavy hits that result in death – which, of course, sends you back to the last save point.

However, it should be noted that the end of the story is not the end of Stranger of Paradise. Playing through the game unlocks Mayhem difficulty, which in turn unlocks the ability to level jobs from 30 to 99 and purchase gear up to item level 300. This is all in preparation for future content to come – three DLCs have been announced, expanding gear and improving player choices.
