When Disgaea 6: Regardless of fatefirst new one Disgaea game for six years, released on Switch, it was A little disappointing. A complete version is called, wait for it, Disgaea 6 Complete Coming soon to PS4, PS5 and Steam.
Regardless of fate was only released on Switch internationally, while there was also a PS4 version in Japan. Disgaea 6 Complete is the first localized release of the sequel to be available on PS4. It’s also the first time Disgaea to launch PlayStation 5. Check out the trailer below.
The Disgaea the series is a series with so much history, and Nippon Ichi Software is such a beloved game company. The sixth sequel brings 3D visuals to the characters and the battlefield, but the Switch version is sometimes inaccurate. In addition, the game may experience frame rate issues, reducing the experience. It makes the game feel like it’s supposed to be named Disgaea 6 is not finished yet.
As you can see in the trailer above, the upcoming release definitely looks better than the Switch version, and both PS5 and PC have to deal with frame rates to the bare minimum. But frame rate isn’t the only problem with Disgaea 6: Regardless of fate when it was originally released.
“My bigger problem with Disgaea 6 just the feeling of how inflated and frictionless everything is,” KotakuEthan Gach wrote at the time. “The new level cap is 99,999,999, up from the previous standard of 9,999, but in practice that seems to mean every character levels up much faster.”
So depending on how you feel about the original game itself, looking aside, could tell how excited you are about the upcoming update.
Disgaea 6 Complete will be available in North America on PS4, PS5, and PC this summer.
