Aljamain Sterling has already set his goal for the next fight. The undisputed bantamweight champion exclaimed TJDillashaw and he already has an answer.

Aljamain Sterling wanted to prove to the whole world that he is a worthy champion and deserves the belt. And he did it spectacularly. Sterling defended the bantamweight belt against his nemesis peter jan at UFC 273, held at the VyStar Veteran Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. Sterling won the fight via decision.

Sterling was taunted and trashed for claiming to be champion when he won the belt via disqualification. The champion was a massive underdog in his rematch against Petr Yan in the co-main event. Amid several boos from his own countrymen, Sterling managed to beat the Russian and make a spectacular call to his next opponent.

Former Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw is officially back from his suspension and ready to take what’s his. Sterling called out TJ in the follow-up, naming the former champion “Needleshaw” who shot at his past with steroids.

Dillashaw recently returned after a two-year suspension. He fought against top contenders Cory Sandhagen and won his rematch via unanimous decision. Long in the sport, Dillashaw is a former champion. He has a professional career record of 18-4-0 and is one of the best to have ever done it.
