Home-Away Star Kawakawa Fox-Reo ‘Unrecognizable’ in Early Acting Clip

In his role, he wore his hair cropped short, but in the retro clips from 2016, Fox-Reo looks practically unrecognizable with side-parted, curly long hair.

In a Twitch livestream, the actor shared drama school footage and some of his early audition tapes.

In one segment, he pulls on a not-so-convincing Cockney accent and reenacts a scene from the 2008 film In Bruges.

“They’re pretty funny,” Fox-Reo said, introducing the clips.

“Well, I looked at them today and I laughed.

“Some of them are very s***.”

When attempting a Cockney accent, he said, “The accent is dog*** and it’s kinda funny”.

“And the hair and pimply face, brother, yes.”

Then he burst out laughing.

“Harry Potter vibes,” one person wrote, while another thought “Draco vibes” was more accurate.

“This is GOLD,” wrote another.

In another clip, Fox-Reo performs a scene from the Daniel Day Lewis film There Will Be Blood.

In this cutout he is wearing a button down shirt, a gray cardigan and has curly hair.

“Okay, now you look like Harry Styles did back then,” one person said.

Another fan agreed.

“Your hair from back then reminds me of Harry Styles’ hair when One Direction first debuted,” they remarked.

“I’ve never laughed like that,” added another.

“It’s the best thing I’ve seen in my entire life.”

In another scene that looks like an audition tape, Fox-Reo looks a bit more like his home and away self, clearly a bit older and with a short buzz cut.

The different stages of hair have been the main talking points among the actor’s fans.

“The hair gets me all the time,” said one.

“I love the different stages of hairstyles,” said another.

Fox-Reo left Home and Away in 2022 to pursue other pursuits.

Fans of the young star had been speculating about his exit from the show for months prior to the announcement.

After he left, he had yet another hairstyle change — posting photos while on vacation in the US with bleached blonde hair.

He has barely posted to Instagram since leaving the show. One of his latest pictures shows him at a party in Sydney in January – still with blonde hair.
