Hillary Clinton and DNC fined by US govt over Russian dossier hoax

The campaign of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee faces at least some justice for forcing the four-year Russia hoax on the American people.

While it doesn’t mean that Hillary Clinton faces jail time for orchestrating a fraud that led to federal surveillance of her campaign competitor, a criminal abuse of the FISA court system, her campaign and her DNC allies will be caught up in the federal election Fined Commission, exclusive to the Washington Examiner reported On Wednesday.

“The Federal Election Commission fined the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign for lying about funding the infamous and discredited Russian ‘dossier’ used in a smear attempt against Donald Trump weeks before he shocked the world with his 2016 presidential election victory,” the report said.

“The Elections Authority said that Clinton and the DNC violated strict rules describing expenses for payments made through her law firm to opposition research firm Fusion GPS,” the report added.

“A sum of $1,024,407.97 was paid by the Treasurers of the DNC and Clinton campaigns to the law firm of Perkins Coie for Fusion GPS information, and the party and campaign hid the reason, alleging that it is legal services, not opposition research,” she continued. “Instead, the DNC’s $849,407.97 and the Clinton campaign’s $175,000 covered Fusion GPS’s opposition research on the dossier, a basis for the so-called “Russia hoax” that dogged Trump’s first term.”

“The FEC said in a memo to the Coolidge Reagan Foundation, which filed its complaint over three years ago, that it would fine Clinton’s treasurer $8,000 and the DNC treasurer $105,000,” the report said. “The memo shared with Secrets is due out in a month.”

“This may be the first time that Hillary Clinton – one of the most patently most corrupt politicians in American history – has actually been held to account, and I’m proud to have once forced the FEC to do its job,” said Dan Backer from the Coolidge Reagan Foundation to Secrets. “The Coolidge Reagan Foundation has proven that Americans who stand with courage and determination can hold their own against the Clinton machine and other corrupt political elites.”

This may not be the level of accountability that many Americans are looking for. But it is the first sign that the federal government is aware that the Russia hoax was an act of grave misconduct against the American people, and that it has done more than just issue a “report.”
