High Plains Library District is seeking candidates for two seats on the Board of Trustees

The High Plains Library District, a network of seven branch offices, bookmobiles and six autonomous member libraries, is accepting applicants for two open positions on its Board of Trustees.

The Library District Board of Trustees consists of seven members, all of whom must reside in the district’s statutory service area.

There is a Region 2 Trustee opening representing Gilcrest, Hudson, Keenesburg, LaSalle, Lochbuie, Platteville and Fort Lupton. There is also an opportunity to represent Greeley, Evans and Garden City in Region 4.

The terms of office for both seats run from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2026.

Applications are available on the library district’s website at www.mylibrary.us/board

The application deadline is Friday, September 16, 5 p.m. Interviews will take place on Friday, October 14, 1-3pm.
