Hearthstone is applying balance adjustments to Battlegrounds, Duels, and several of its newest maps

with Hearthstones The March of the Lich King expansion is now almost two months old, and the online CCG developers have had time to take a vacation break, collecting data and spinning the old balance wheels for a number of the expansion’s new maps, as well as the battlegrounds and Duels modes.
As you’d expect, the map-specific tweaks are granular and broken down into maps that were bonked with the nerf bat and maps that received the buff juice. In general, downgrades on certain cards are intended to reduce the power of Rogues, Hunters, Frost Death Knights, and Astalor, while buffs aim to bring out Unholy and Blood Death Knights along with undead aggro decks.
Regarding the Battlegrounds mode adjustments, these include specific adjustments to hero and minion armor values and card mechanics, while Duels mode banned the To the Front card, tweaked the mana costs for several hero powers, and made a laundry list of changes to Treasures. Many of these changes are all highly targeted, so players should probably take a moment to read them all.
