‘He better start training his chin’ Ryan Garcia gives Gervonta Davis a strong warning ahead of the April 22 fight

It’s just a month until the superfight between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia. Garcia has issued strong warnings about his next opponent in the ring ahead of what could be considered the toughest of his pro career.

After much back and forth and near cancellations, the highly anticipated boxing match between Garcia and Gervonta will finally take place on April 22nd at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Tank and The Flash KingRy have been at odds for quite some time, and their fight has also been in the works for quite some time. Both fighters have engaged in multiple virtual confrontations and now they are less than a month away from meeting in the ring to finally resolve their differences.

What did Ryan Garcia say to Gervonta Davis?

Both boxers issue dire warnings to finish each other off when they finally meet. Tank is also admonished by Garcia to increase his training beyond what he is currently doing. In an interview with Inside Fighting, Garcia said Davis had better start training his chin.

Earlier, during the first official press conference at The Beverly Hilton, the 24-year-old fighter claimed Davis had not shown any integrity or willingness to fight him. The Flash KingRy feels that he chose this fight because instead of putting himself first he prioritized boxing fans and sport because he wants to influence this sport by leading the push.

The former interim WBC lightweight champion is undefeated in his pro career. In 2022 he faced Javier Fortuna (37-3-1) and Emmanuel Tagoe (32-1-0) and emerged victorious in both bouts.
