The Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees have one of the most prominent and notable rivalries of all time. And a fan made a jersey with both teams.

There are things that just should never be combined. For one reason or another, opposites don’t always attract and they shouldn’t be forced into some bizarre combination. Oil and water don’t necessarily go together, and putting an unfamiliar cat and dog in a small space is often a very bad idea.

Looking for another example? Take a look at the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees. Two teams that are at the heart of an exceptionally heated and intense rivalry should not be forced to share the same jersey.

And yet there’s at least one person who thought it would be a brilliant idea to somehow butcher, sew and stitch a bunch of jerseys together to make a Franken shirt featuring Babe Ruth, who famously played for both teams.

The Red Sox and the Yankees would be another great example of two things that shouldn’t be forced into peaceful coexistence. And yet, here we are looking at a very interesting kit. There aren’t many things that could possibly top this. Maybe an Iron Bowl or Egg Bowl rivalry uniform mashup?
