H Street Bridge is Now Officially Official Tara O’Sullivan Memorial Bridge – CBS Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – America’s River H Road Bridge is now officially the Officer Tara O’Sullivan Memorial Bridge, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The name change was largely led by Councilmember Jeff Harris, who attended and spoke at the awarding ceremony on Sunday morning commemorating the bridge’s renaming.

In addition, Pastor Sadler, Kathy Lester, retired Dean Daniel Hahn, Sacramento State University President Robert Nelson, and the O’Sullivan family spoke at the ceremony.

This name change is seen as a way to remember Officer O’Sullivan and the service she has provided to our city.
