Gregory Norman, the CEO of the LIV series, has praised Koepka after the move. The four-time Major winner is expected to compete in the series at the second event in Portland next week. While competing at the US Open, he has announced his retirement from the next PGA Tour event, the Travelers Championship. Norman claimed Koepka was one of the most elite players in the golf world.

Koepka’s move comes just days after the American admitted he hadn’t given much thought to a series switch. “Just trying to focus on the US Open man.
