Although a critical success, gravity isn’t the most obvious PlayStation trait for a film or TV adaptation – especially when you compare it to cinematic storytelling games like God of War and The last of us. Still, it’s heartening to see PlayStation Productions reviving a relatively lesser-known cult classic.
Sega is doing something similar after the success of the Sonic the Hedgehog Movie Adaptations – The company recently announced plans to adapt Sega icons like comix zone, space channel 5and Shin Megami Tensei: Person, in addition to continuing with the sound Franchise.
With the Untitled Mario Movie and a live action Pac Man Adaptation on the way, there definitely won’t be a shortage of video game movies for the next few years. Let’s just hope so some of these are good.
