A few days ago a Counter Strike Global Offensive A player named sp1cay was playing with some friends when, after a quick sprint and throwing a grenade, they pulled out their AWP sniper rifle and fired a single shot.

That shot went straight through the original target – a handy shot in its own right – and straight into the guy behind them. Then the guy behind them. And so on until five Corpses lay on the ground.

There’s a term in there counterstrike is called “Ace” and is used like dogfights in the real world when a single player is able to eliminate five opponents (which is what in counterstrike also a whole team). It’s a rare achievement and applies as long as a single player self-obliterates all five enemies, regardless of time or ammo spent.

Doing it in a single shot is…holy shit. Seemingly the guy responsible for it – quickly becomes one counterstrike Fame – “doesn’t want anything just for people to watch his full clip on YouTube”, so without further ado:

AWP 5k – 1 ball

“I I’ve never seen this before, so I guess it’s rare?” he says on YouTube. “Nnot sure! hope everyone likes it :)”. Since the blast earlier this morning, sp1cay’s YouTube comments have been inundated with praise such as:

This is a once-in-a-lifetime recording. Insanely unreal. congratulations

That’s the craziest thing ever, man. Valve should advertise for this

Fantastic moment in gaming history. Someone sent this to geoff to make sure it’s the game awards highlights

I don’t know if I’ll see another one like this in my life

That was one hell of a guy. I’ve never seen a shot like this in CS history

Nobody will ever meet something like this again

Something you should definitely say to your kids – because I would. Once in a lifetime, that’s for sure.

I don’t even play the game but I know it’s awesome!

I think most of us are that last guy right now.
