British tennis sensation Emma Raducanu had a rough start to her new 2022 season. She was last seen at Australian Open 2022 where she entered to win her second Grand Slam title but her quest ended when she was defeated in the second round by Danka Kovinic and thus eliminated from the tournament.

Since then, the star has not been active professionally. Though her recent videos have gone viral on social media, in which she was seen practicing in Singapore for the rest of the season. Recently, Emma took to social media to announce her departure from London. She is getting ready to travel to Guadalajara for the upcoming WTA 250 event. “I’m on an adventure to learn a few more things,” she writes.

WTA 250 Guadalajara is a women’s tennis tournament also known as Abierto Akron Zapopan. It takes place on outdoor hard courts, during February or March at the Panamerican Tennis Center in the city of Guadalajara in Mexico. This year, the tournament will be held from February 21, 2022 to February 27, 2022.

Although Emma didn’t seem to be in good form from the start of the season, she ended her last season well and won her first Grand Slam title at the US Open 2021. She will be the seed. top in Guadalajara, and with a less competitive arena, she could very well claim her first WTA 250 title next week.

After Guadalajara, Emma is scheduled to head North and play two key WTA 1000 events – Indian Wells and Miami.
