Kardashian appeared uninterested in the game as she spent time on her phone while Saint wore an Arsenal jersey and was seen cheering for the Gunners.

According to The Sun, Kardashian’s appearance at the game was part of a mystery documentary filmed on the soccer field.

The celebrity superstar took to social media during the game, posting a picture of several Arsenal merchandise and Prime sports drinks – a club sponsor owned by Logan Paul and KSI – with the caption “Send help SOS”.

Football fans were shocked to see Kardashian, who rarely spends time in the UK, at the game – even wondering if her presence had made Arsenal players nervous as the Gunners lost the game on penalties and were knocked out of the Europa League .

Fans complained that the Kardashians star was “not allowed to return,” with many supporters claiming Arsenal’s loss and injuries to stars Takehiro Tomiyasu and William Saliba were a result of the “Kardashian curse.”

“Saliba injured. The Kardashian curse strikes again,” one fan posted on social media.

A second wrote: “Saliba and Tomiyasu were cooking???? Nahhh, this Kardashian curse is working overtime. God help us.”

Another fan added, “And Saliba gets hurt… the Kardashian curse is real.”

“Kim Kardashian damn Arsenal bye Europe ain’t for kids,” joked another fan.

Influencer and blogger Beno SarkCess noted, “Arsenal players saw Kim Kardashian and lost focus on useless players.”

Another football fan made a meme and wrote: “Arsenal got kicked out of the Europa League so I blocked Kim Kardashian.”

Fans wondered why Kardashian and her son were even at the game.

One fan asked: “How did Saint become an Arsenal fan?”

“Why is Kim Kardashian at the Arsenal game?” commented another person.

“Someone tell me why Kim Kardashian is at the Arsenal game,” asked one fan.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants his side to quickly get their focus back on their EPL title hopes after exiting the Europa League on penalties against Sporting.

The Gunners were eliminated by their Portuguese opponents after drawing both legs 2-2 away and 1-1 at the Emirates in Thursday’s round of 16, Gabriel Martinelli missing the crucial penalty.

Granit Xhaka had previously given Arsenal command of the tie only for a spectacular Pedro Goncalves strike just behind the halfway line to set the tense end.

Asked what his side could do to ensure the disappointment doesn’t affect their Premier League prospects, Arteta told BT Sport: “Just look at what we did and why we weren’t good enough, to get through.

“Congratulations to Sporting but now we have 11 games and the first is (Crystal) Palace which is a final. Every word we use now has to apply to Palace to be better than today.”

Arsenal were denied by two excellent saves by away goalkeeper Antonio Adan in extra time and the veteran was again on hand to stop Martinelli’s penalty, but Arteta believes the initiative was abandoned sooner.

The Spaniard not only accepted that first-half injuries to Tomiyasu and Saliba made him ‘limited’ from the bench, but also criticized his players’ laxness in possession.

“We weren’t at our level for the first 75 minutes. We gave away every single ball,” he said.

“We consistently gave the ball away and created a really open transition game. We had chances in extra time and on penalties it’s a big uncertainty but we lost them.”
