Two-time MVP listed among the five who started the Bucks on Monday night with Cleveland Cavaliers. Antetokounmpo has been put on the suspect list because of a pain in his right calf that left him unconscious in the previous two matches.
“We’ll see how he feels in the warm-up and determine it,” Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said Monday ahead of the lineup’s debut.
The Bucks split two games Antetokounmpo missed last week.
In the first game without him, the Bucks lost 97-93 in Toronto on Thursday to go on an eight-game winning streak. They recovered at home two nights later with a 124-102 win over Miami.
Antetokounmpo is scoring 27.6 points per game this season to rank second in the NBA, behind Brooklyn Kevin Durant. He also averaged 11.8 rebounds and six assists.
Denver’s Nikola Jokić is the only other NBA player to average at least 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists this season.
