‘Get my number and get in touch’ Undefeated Frazer Clarke calls out Oleksandr Usyk for a sparring session ahead of Tyson Fury fight

Oleksandr Usyk has never been closer to boxing greatness. In addition to winning WBA, WBO and IBF titles, the Ukrainian now has an opportunity to hold the WBC title. Should he manage to beat heavyweight legend Tyson Fury? Now it looks like undefeated Frazer wants to help Clarke Usyk repeat a boxing performance last seen 20 years ago.

The 6ft 6in giant is currently going into his fifth fight undefeated. His last recorded weight was around 271 pounds. Fury is 6ft 9in and finding a sparring partner who can reasonably replicate the British champions isn’t easy. But Frazer is still a good candidate as he’s 3 inches shorter than Tyson but 3 inches longer than Usyk. If Oleksandr wants to train with a bigger and heavier opponent with boxing power and skill to match, Clarke should come into play.

The former Olympic bronze medalist has a big fight ahead as he takes on sturdy Argentinian Kevin Espindola. The fight will take place on the January 21st on the undercard of the Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Liam Smith fight and many fans will be tuning in to see if Frazer can make it through all of the scheduled 8 rounds. However, Clarke remains as confident as ever, risking his unbeaten record with just two weeks until the match.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the Brit said: “Oh I would enjoy and love the experience, 100 per cent I would go there and love the experience. It would be awesome for me and if Team Usyk reads this interview, get my number and get in touch. I would like to come over.”

What about the fight between Fury and Usyk?

The heavyweight unification bout between Tyson and Oleksandr appears to be on the verge of confirmation. Both camps seem eager to end the fight and the mistakes from the Anthony Joshua fight are unlikely to be repeated.
