Georgia’s Jordan Davis throws a perfect shot for the Braves’ first throw

Before Jordan Davis names his name in the NFL draft in late April, he once again celebrated his status as a Georgia Bulldogs legend.

Davis ran a 4.78 40-yard dash for NFL scouts and has proven time and time again that he’s a natural wonder. Expected to be selected in the first round in just a few weeks, he has again been honored for his performance in the Georgian National Championship season.

This time Davis threw out the first pitch at an Atlanta Braves game. Although Davis will soon be using his talents elsewhere, he will always represent the state of Georgia, particularly Athens. They can no longer take the title of “National Champion” from you.

Given his athletic prowess, we shouldn’t be surprised that Davis’ first shot was a perfect shot.

Davis took part on the Bally Sports program to discuss what the championship meant to Georgia fans and the state at large. It’s been a busy year for Georgia sports fans, with the Braves and UGA taking home titles.

“Dawg Nation embraced me with open arms. And I’m forever grateful for that,” Davis said. “Nobody can take that away from us. We are legendary forever. So to the whole Dawg Nation, we love you guys.”

During the Bulldogs National Championship parade, Davis famously removed his shirt to reveal a Braves jersey. So this ceremony was a long time coming.
