Genshin Impact’s in-game Trading Card Game is getting an in-game tournament, more modes, and more cards on May 24th

The trading card game “Genius Invocation” in the game Genshin Impact will see a slew of updates on Wednesday May 24th. That’s when Update 3.7 is scheduled to go live, which will launch a new in-game event dedicated to the very serious matter of the card game.

The King of Invocation Grand Prix has a few card events for players to participate in, including an unofficial tournament called Zero Hour Invocation, which limits Duelists to a set of select cards, and two Genius Invocation-inspired mini-games that include Restoration of card art or the use of elemental dice in combat. Other activities during the event include a sightseeing parkour challenge or a battle challenge where there is money to earn rewards like a four-star bow.

In addition to the in-game TCG tournament, Genius Invocation will receive a number of general updates such as a new PvP Arena mode in which players must achieve five wins, a new PvE mode that offers selectable difficulty modifiers to earn additional points , and 60 new maps with new characters, monsters, weapons and artifacts.

For those unfamiliar with card games, update 3.7 will also introduce Kirara, a four-star Dendro sword wielder with some fast attacks. Her banner will open the first half of the patch alongside reps for Yoimiya and Yae Miko, while the second half of the update will offer a chance at Kaedehara Kazuha and Alhaitham. Below is a preview of all of these Card Slingshot perks.
