Genshin Impact: Hyakunin Ikki Event Guide

Assemble your strongest characters because Genshin Impact’s latest Hyakunin Ikki event will require plenty of firepower. This quick firefighting event eliminates the typical 4-man Genshin Impact party and condenses them down to a two-character size. You have to do six Teams with this lineup for a total of 12 characters fighting waves of enemies.

If you defeat an opponent in this event, you will receive a certain number of points. The goal of the event is to kill as many enemies as possible while using your entire team. The more points you get, the more rewards you get.

When creating a team, you can choose from a list of trial characters and your own characters. The test characters that you can use today are Ayaka, Yoimiya, Kazuha, Arataki Itto, Xiangling and Razor. Assemble your strongest team, then click the Configure Skills tab.

Here you can select a list of buffs to grant to one of your groups. Each group can carry a maximum of two buffs. Each buff has a unique effect, so choose the one that best suits your team. After you have put together your optimal party, you can start the event.

Defeating enemies will charge a “Rage” meter at the top of your screen. This grants some buffs to your teams while loading, but if a group travels too long they lose tons of damage in the form of some massive nerfs.

In this case, you will have to change your team to the next one. Drive through all your teams and defeat waves and waves of enemies to get the highest score you can. You only need 2,000 points to claim the maximum number of rewards for today.

Note: Elemental Resonances do not take effect during Hyakunin Ikki, and you cannot use food or other combat items. Watch your team’s health during this event, because if you lose a character, they’re out of your attempt forever.

A new challenge is available to players every day. These challenges vary in the enemies you can face, so plan your team accordingly based on what you have to fight. (For example, there will be some Hydro Slimes and Hydro Abyss Mages on Day 3, so you might want to consider some Cryo Units to freeze them.)

That’s all you need to know about the Hyakunin Ikki event in Genshin Impact! Create your strongest parties and get the high score. Genshin Impact: Hyakunin Ikki Event Guide
