Genshin Impact fan recreates characters in Tower of Fantasy

There’s no getting around it: Tower of Fantasy and Genshin Impact look the same. While Tower of Fantasy has many playable characters of its own, you can also customize your avatar to your liking. A creator has taken this option to its logical conclusion.
YouTube channel ON Game released a video humorously titled “Tower of Fantasy but Genshin Impact” that does exactly what the title says. Over the course of about two minutes, the video features superb recreations of Genshin Impact characters such as Bennett, Childe, Chongyun, and more. As an added joke, it ends with a side-by-side shot of Tower of Fantasy’s Mi-A and Genshin Impact’s Paimon – both short fairy characters. ON Game should make a follow-up video when the Sumeru characters come out in Genshin version 3.0 later this year.
ON Game played the original Chinese version of Tower of Fantasy to create this video, but the game’s western release date is imminent. Tower of Fantasy will be released on Wednesday, August 10th for iOS, Android and PC in the West. Those who want to claim some bonuses before launch can still pre-register to receive them. Doing this before launch will grant you several in-game resources, the number of which will increase as more people log in.
As for Genshin Impact, the 3.0 update mentioned above is the biggest one on the horizon. The Sumeru region offers new environments such as rainforests and sand dunes to explore, and it is also home to the Dendro element, which is associated with the quality of wisdom. This allows for new elemental reactions, which of course can be used by new characters (who have already been the subject of a whitewashing controversy).
Version 3.0 is due for this fall, but by then we’ll see at least version 2.8. A new Yoimiya banner featuring Bennett, Yun Jin and Xinyan was recently unveiled.
