Genshin Impact Catalyst Level List – The best catalysts in Genshin Impact

There are five different types of weapons in Genshin Impact, and each character in the game uses one of the different types. The Catalyst in Genshin Impact is unique because its Basic Attacks are made to deal Elemental damage (such as Sucrose which will deal Anemo damage on her Basic Attacks.) The Catalyst is also one of them. two ranged weapons in the game, allowing you to deal damage to enemies over longer distances than other melee weapons.

Some catalysts in the game are naturally better than others, especially the high rarity in-game catalyst. However, some Catalysts are also fooled as weak despite the high price to get them. This is our current tier list for Catalyst, which will be updated over time as new weapons are released and new builds are discovered.

Here is our level list:

  • S+: Skyward Atlas, The Lost Prayer of the Sacred Threads, Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers, Memory of the Dust
  • S: Kagura’s Verity, The Widsith
  • ONE: Shards of Sacrifice, The Favonius Code, The Pearl of the Sun, Dodoco’s Tales
  • B: Prototype Amber, Hakushin Ring, Mappa Mare, Black Onyx
  • C: Royal Grimiore, Frostbearer, Wine of Song, Eye of Perception
  • F: Eternal Moonglow

The best catalyst

Skyward Atlas

Can be obtained from Limited Wishes.

  • Rarity: 5 stars
  • ATK: 48/674
  • Sub Stats: ATK%
  • Sub Stats: 7.2% – 33.1%
  • Passive: Increases elemental damage by 12/15/18/21/24%. Basic attacks have a 50% chance of gaining favor with clouds. Actively searches for nearby enemies to attack for 15 seconds, dealing 160/200/240/280/320% ATK DMG. Can only happen once every 30 seconds.

The Skyward Atlas is the weapon of choice for most attack-oriented Catalyst users in the game, with its strong ATK and %ATK stats, as well as a very strong passive that increases elemental damage.

The lost prayer of the sacred ropes

Can be obtained from Limited Wishes.

  • Rarity: 5 stars
  • ATK: 46/608
  • Secondary statistic: Crit %
  • Sub Stats: 7.2% – 33.1%
  • Passive: Increases movement speed by 10%. While in battle, take an additional 8/10/12/14/16% elemental damage every 4 seconds. Up to 4 stacks. Lasts until the character falls or leaves the battle.

This weapon usually binds or goes slightly behind the Skyward Atlas, with %passes having a high Crit rate and elemental damage bonus.

Thrilling Stories of Dragon Slayer

Can be obtained from the Treaty.

  • Rarity: 3 stars
  • ATK: 39/401
  • Secondary Stats: HP%
  • Sub Stat Level: 7.7% – 35.2%
  • Passive: When switching characters, new characters entering the field have their ATK increased by 24/30/36/42/48% for 10 seconds. This effect can only happen every 20 seconds.

Dragon Slayer’s thrilling story is the best weapon of choice for most assists in the game using Catalyst. The %ATK increase is too strong compared to other Assist options and is a free buff simply achieved by switching. Weapons are also extremely easy to obtain through Wishes, so you should have no problem tweaking your weapon to R5 for a 48% ATK buff.

Memories of Dust

Can be obtained from Limited Wishes.

  • Rarity: 5 stars
  • ATK: 46/608
  • Sub Stats: 10.8% – 49.6%
  • Passive: Increases Shield’s Strength by 20/25/30/35/40%. Hitting an opponent increases ATK by 4/5/6/7/8% for 8 seconds. Maximum of 5 stacks. Can only happen once every 0.3s. When protected by a shield, this ATK boost is increased by 100%.

Dust Memory offers extremely high ATK with its secondary and passive stats. This weapon is often related to other top level DPS options for Catalyst weapons.

Kagura’s Verity

Can be obtained from Limited Wishes.

  • Rarity: 5 stars
  • ATK: 46/608
  • Secondary Stats: Crit DMG%
  • Sub Stats: 14.4% – 66.2%
  • Passive: Gains Kagura’s Dancing effect when using an Elemental Skill, causing the weapon’s character’s elemental Skill damage to increase by 12/15/18/21/24% for 16 seconds. Maximum of 3 stacks. This character will gain 12/15/18/21/24% of all Elemental Damage Bonuses when they have 3 stacks.

This weapon is powerful, but loses much of its effectiveness as most Catalyst characters in the game can’t reach 3 stacks before the time resets. Only Yae Miko can use this weapon to its fullest, limiting its effectiveness.

The Widsith

Can be obtained from the Treaty.

  • Rarity: 4 stars
  • ATK: 42/510
  • Secondary Stats: Crit DMG%
  • Sub Stats: 12% – 55.1%
  • Passive: When a character approaches the field, they will receive a random theme song for 10 seconds. This can only happen once every 30 seconds.
    • Cooldown: Attack damage increased by 60/75/90/105/120%.
    • Aria: Increases damage taken by all elements by 48/60/72/84/96%.
    • Interlude: Elemental Mastery increased by 240/300/360/420/480.

Widsith is the 4 star of choice for most DPS characters. Since it is a 4-star, it is also easier to obtain than the 5-star weapons in the game. Solar Pearl watches closely, but Widsith offers three potential strengths that range from pretty good to excellent.

Despicable mention: Eternal Moonglow

Can be obtained from Limited Wishes.

  • Rarity: 5 stars
  • ATK: 46/608
  • Secondary Stats: HP%
  • Sub Stats: 10.8% – 49.6%
  • Passive: Heal bonus is increased by 10 / 12.5 / 15 / 17.5 / 20%, basic attack damage is increased by 1 / 1.5 / 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0% of the maximum HP of the character equipped with this weapon. For 12 seconds after casting Elemental Burst, Basic Attacks on your opponent restore 0.6 Mana. Energy can be restored this way every 0.1 seconds

The Everlasting Moonglow is a shame weapon with an absolutely horrible passive that only works for a very specific build (starting is suboptimal.) As a support weapon (works only on healers.) sick), you will get more utility by using 3-star weapon, Dragon Slayer Thrilling Stories. We recommend against using this weapon unless you plan on using DPS Kokomi, a non-optimal build path.

This weapon is proof that not all 5 stars are created equal and do your research before investing in any character or weapon despite its potentially high price tag.
