Gabrielle Union’s family photo takes a turn as fans focus on Kaavia James’ facial expressions

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s daughter, Kaavia James, is a little Miss Personality through and through.

The actress took to her Instagram account on Wednesday, August 3, where she shared a series of adorable family photos of herself, her husband, former NBA star Dwyane Wade, and their 3-year-old toddler who are nearby standing by a window.

The 49-year-old star wore a navy blue dress with gold detailing around the waist. She wore her dark locks in a bun on her head and opted for a fresh makeup look. Meanwhile, the former athlete wore a bright yellow button-down shirt with matching bottoms. Kaavia rocked a red and black skirt and white tank top. Her curly hair was pinned up like her mother’s.

However, it was Kaavia who stole the show with her gorgeous smile and various facial expressions, including one where she put her tiny hands under her chin and another where she crossed her arms and looked across the room. Gabrielle captioned the post “My heart is full”. [sic] with three black heart emojis. Dwyane replied, “We love our mom.”

Many fans gushed over the films but were quick to point out Kaavia’s cute gestures in the comments, including one user who wrote, “You better pose baby girl.”

Another person added: “The baby is really posing! She just likes you @gabunion.” That’s my Innanet niece in the middle serving all the poses! Get it!” commented a third. “She has a lot of personality. lovable”

Last month, Gabrielle spoke about teaching her daughter the importance of self-care. In one post, she wrote: “Teaching @kaaviajames to love every part of yourself is a full-time job with no days off, but I approach it as an act of love. From the time black girls are born, people check our ears and nail beds to see how dark we might be, or the incessant comments about what “grades” of hair our children might have. All of our parts are up for discussion and often contempt.”
