Frozen has helped Craig Kimbrel reclaim his mojo with the Dodgers

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Craig Kimbrel changed his walk-in music just a few weeks ago, and he’s been playing it perfectly ever since.
Los Angeles Dodgers Pitcher Craig Kimbrel changed his running music to “Let It Go” from the hit Disney film “Frozen” just a few weeks ago. It has proven to be an iconic move because it has since pitched perfectly. Since using it, he hasn’t conceded a hit in six appearances and has a 0.00 ERA, according to Talkin’ Baseball on Twitter.
It’s a welcome development for Dodgers fans since Kimbrel has struggled this season. Overall, he has a 3.88 ERA, a .245 batting average, and a 1.40 WHIP. He only had two comparable seasons in his 13-year career. Throughout his career he has produced an ERA of 2.30, BAA of 0.165 and WHIP of 0.99. Kimbrel has proven over the past few seasons that he is capable of much more, and like Elsa, Kimbrel is embracing and letting go of his magical potential.
He needed a change this season and it seems walk-in songs have been all the rage to get players in the right frame of mind.
Sure, it was unexpected that the most popular song from the Frozen soundtrack would have such a positive impact on his performance, but whatever, it works.
Frozen does wonders for Dodgers pitcher Craig Kimbrel
This is the third worst season of Kimbrel’s entire career. This is also his first season with the Dodgers, who have some of the best pitching stats in the league, so he has a lot to prove. Switching his walk-through music to Frozen might have been the uplifting touch he needed to stand out from the crowd.
Los Angeles must cling to whatever will bring them success as they near the postseason. They are well on their way to potentially making the World Series and they should not take any steps that will hamper their success.
According to FanGraphsthey have a 100 percent chance of making the playoffs and a 17.6 percent chance of winning the World Series, which is the highest chance of any team.
They also have the best league ERA (2.88), opposing batting average (.210), and WHIP (1.06). If Kimbrel can continue his newfound success, he will be a solid addition to the team.
