Francis Ngannou claims injury hampered Kamaru Usman’s UFC 286 prep against Leon Edwards

“Yeah, let’s see what comes next. I believe he will get it back. I think it.”

Kamru Usman

Usman claimed his training camp went smoothly despite being crushed by a headbutt last August and did not mention any personal issues. He subsequently praised Edwards’ game plan, noting that “Rocky” successfully thwarted takedowns and delivered powerful punches, particularly to the knees.

Throughout his career, Kamaru has had knee problems and usually wears an orthosis when training. However, he claimed that such problems do not concern him during the fights. It remains to be seen if he struggled with any other ailments during his much-anticipated showdown with Edwards.
