Fox’s Howard Kurtz rips MSNBC for ignoring Jeff Zucker’s story

Fox News presenter Howard Kurtz going after MSNBC for ignoring resignation of the director of CNN Jeff Zucker.
In a fiery commentary on his MediaBuzz show Sunday morning, Fox’s media critic criticized the rival network for failing to cover what is undoubtedly one of the biggest media stories in the world. a time. (A Mediaite search of MSNBC transcripts via media monitoring service SnapStream shows that MSNBC has not mentioned Zucker by name once since he resigned from CNN.)
“MSNBC, the company that loves to attack ads, hasn’t said a word about Zucker being ousted,” Kurtz said. “Despite all the delicious factors, the network ruled that it was not news. Nothing to see here. Jeff who? ”
Kurtz accused the network of having an impure motive in ignoring Zucker’s story. He believes that the reason MSNBC turned a blind eye to the story was that Zucker was once president of NBC Universal and still has allies at the network.
“It was protecting a friend and one-time boss,” Kurtz said. “An absolute abolition of duty.”
