Fortnite’s The new update adds a lot of directly taken content the popular anime franchise, dragon ball. Specially-loved heroes like Goku and Bulma are now running alongside Darth Vader and Batman in battle royale. wild times. And these new anime characters have brought powerful goodies that turn the game into one huge, exciting shitstorm of anime, superpowers, and violence.

Yesterday, after some teasing and a lot of rumours, Epic released the latest update for its hugely popular free-to-play battle royale shooter Fourteen days. (Once we actually tried to check it.) You’ve probably heard of it before? If not, well, it’s a wild third-person shooter where 100 players land on an island and then scavenge for weapons, armor, and ammo as the map shrinks and they fight to be the last player standing remains. Also Deadpool and Ryu out street fighter Are also there. Like I said, wild times.

Now, as part of its latest crossover with a popular franchise, Fourteen days has been invaded by characters, locations, and powers Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball great. And let me tell you what, these new toys and characters are friggin’ stuff.

For the next two weekscan buy players DBZ-themed characters and other accessories while working to complete a series of in-game quests revolving around various tasks Dragon Ball ZLike things or visit places or landmarks from the show. Complete these quests and challenges and you will get DBZ-themed rewards, so many people try to finish them. And 100 people doing that at the same time means areas of the map that are connected DBZ Quests are chaotic battlefields where players die hoping to achieve a specific goal, such as “Buy an item from A DBZ-themed vending machine.”

Oh, and did I forget to mention? One of the items that these vending machines dispense lets you unleash Kamehameha explosions. Yes, this is the same super powerful deadly energy attack that Goku uses in the anime to obliterate his enemies. And because multiple players can have these explosions at the same time, many games are being played by Fourteen days turn into a fever dream by various characters from Marvel and war of stars Blasting celebrities like Lebron James and Ariana Grande walk away while yelling “KAMEHAMEHA!!!!”.

During my last match, I was sitting in a random shack, resting after a small skirmish, and looking for some loot. I also hid out of fear because I could hear a dozen different players shouting “KAMEHAMEHA!!!” outside. and blast each other away. Finally Rick out Rick and Morty Found me and blown my cabin away with the devastating attack. I just laughed

I can imagine that this recent update could be very frustrating for some players who take this game seriously and fight to be the best every time. The number of times I’ve used the new Nimbus Cloud item to zoom out of fights only to turn around and blast people away with a super anime attack is far too high to admit. And it’s only day one this event. While some more serious gamers might be annoyed by all the anime shenanigans that are going on, I’m having a great time.

In fact, I’m having so much fun I can almost ignore how All of pop culture is blending into a gray mush with no unique features or ideas. Nearly.
