Roman ruled
The Bloodline

Roman rule is one of the biggest superstars in the professional wrestling world today. He’s been with the company for over a decade now, but his true dominance began at Payback 2020. After a brief hiatus from the company, Reigns returned to the company in a new heeled avatar at Summerslam 2020 and has never looked back since.

The tribal chief has teamed up with one of the industry’s most creative minds, Paul Heyman, and has been the Universal Champion for over 550 days. Reigns successfully defended his title against Edge, John Cena and Finn Balor, among others. But just a title wouldn’t be enough for the leader of The Bloodline.

So he started a feud against the WWE Champion – which led to the greatest Wrestlemania match ever. Universal Champion Roman Reigns faced WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in a Title Unification Match in the Showcase of Immortals Main Event.

Roman Reigns demonstrated his dominance in another match, becoming the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. There is no doubt that he is one of the biggest performers on the list today. But he’s also headlined the Showcase of Immortals six times in his career, which is only second to Hulk Hogan’s record eight times.

Former WWE Superstar Top Dolla, Mentioned on Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling Podcast, “Roman currently has WrestleMania’s greatest track record in major, high-profile main events of all time. Nobody wants to talk about it, but how many main events does Roman Reigns have at WrestleMania?”

The tribal chief has now won both top titles on the main roster – and is the Unified WWE Universal Champion. But now the question was – what’s next? On the latest episode of Smackdown, Roman Reigns revealed plans, not for himself, but for The Bloodline.

Reigns wants his cousins, the Smackdown Tag Team Champions – the Usos – to pursue the Raw Tag Team Championship. In fact, both tag teams are now slated to appear at major brands – with the Unifying title match possibly taking place at Wrestlemania Backlash.
