Former PlayStation exclusive Hohokum is coming to PC on Steam

While a great thing was done about some former Exclusive to PlayStation come to the PC-like horizon and God of War—Last week no deal was made at all via a much lower profile game, but what i love Nevertheless.
This game is Hohocumwhich was first released on the PlayStation 4 (and PS3 and Vita). in 2014, and it remains one of the chilled video game experiences out there. A collaborative effort between artist Richard Hogg and developers Honeyslug and the record label Ghostly, Hohocum is a Nice 2D adventure where you play as a worm…dragon…thing that simply floats through its various levels, browsing through a colorful landscape just to see what happens.
It is magic. I love this game so much amidst all the hardware drama and blockbuster releases that are on the horizon our summary of last console generation I wrote a whole thing just about this little one Game, what I have described as – in terms of fulfilling his ambitions –Perfect.
You move a big snake thing through a floating landscape, and sometimes you bump into things, and sometimes you fly through things. You fight, never talk and never really do much.
But for Hohocum these are not restrictions. You are a canvas.
It’s a game that understands the connections between interaction, graphics and soundtrack to a shockingly perfect level. Each is inspired by and dependent on the other two to the point where it starts Hohocum is almost synesthetic.
One thing Hohocum now also proves to be timeless. Eight years after the original Release, his art style hasn’t aged a day and technically looks like it could have been released yesterday. The heavy soundtrack that accompanies it sounds as good in 2022 as it did in 2014, which no doubt helped many of those The artists involved – like Tycho – still bring it to death today.
So if you haven’t owned a PlayStation for a while and never checked out this, I can’t recommend it highly enough. Annapurna released this PC version (which admittedly is probably why there was less fuss than if Sony had released it), and it’s available now on Steam.
