Fetch TV adds Love Nature and Curiosity channels

Fetch has added two new channels – Love Nature and Curiosity Channel – available to subscribers to the $6 per month Knowledge Pack and $20 Ultimate Pack.

Love Nature, a wildlife and nature brand of Blue Ant Media, is launching a week-long programming program, “Love Earth,” beginning April 17 in honor of Earth Day.

The event features the premiere of Chasing the Rains on April 22, Earth Day. The four-part original series, narrated by Adjoa Andoh (Bridgeton Invictus) is filmed behind the rugged peaks of Mount Kenya during one of Africa’s worst droughts in twenty years. The series follows a unique cast of animal characters, including a heroic mother cheetah who defends her precious cubs from attacks by rival predators; a rare pack of wild dogs fighting a vicious clan of hyenas in search of food and water; and a Samburu elephant herd that uses intelligence and resilience to locate water in the face of a landscape crumbling to dust.

“Australia is an important market that gives Love Nature a dedicated fan base hungry for wildlife and natural stories they are genuinely passionate about. Our new partnership with Fetch TV has cemented this opportunity and we can’t wait to show their viewers what Love Nature has to offer,” said Carlyn Staudt, General Manager, Love Nature.

Sam Hall, Chief Content and Commercial Officer of Fetch TV added, “Love Nature brings Fetch audiences closer to the animal kingdom in its natural habitat. We’re excited to partner with Love Nature to bring this high-quality, immersive entertainment to Australian homes.”

Curiosity Inc.’s Curiosity Channel features science, technology, history, nature, travel and more and launched April 1st with titles like include Engineering the Future, History by Numbers, Planet Insect, And Red Elvis.

“Curiosity strives to serve a global audience, and strategic distribution partnerships are critical to our efforts,” said Bakori Davis, Curiosity’s global head of partnerships and distribution. “We’ve long said that nothing travels and translates like factual content, and we’re thrilled to partner with Fetch TV to introduce the Curiosity and Curiosity Channel brand to new viewers.”

Sam Hall, Chief Content and Commercial Officer, Fetch TV added, “We’re excited to partner with Curiosity to bring a wealth of new premium factual programming to Fetch’s curious audience.”
