‘Feeling sharp’ – Jon Jones posts impressive training footage ahead of much-anticipated return FirstSportz

Fight fans have been waiting for Jon Jones’ highly anticipated heavyweight debut. Two years ago, Jones gave hints that he was trying his luck at heavyweight. It was quite shocking and exciting for die-hard Jones fans who wanted him to do well in this new venture.
Jones was originally expected to fight Francis Ngannou for the heavyweight championship this year. Unfortunately, Ngannou revealed that he injured his knee after his fight UFC270. This forced the French-Cameroonian to say goodbye to MMA to recover. Jones then shifted his focus to Stipe Miocic, who is another heavyweight legend.
Miocic who lost his heavyweight title last year Ngannou also expressed interest in fighting Jones. The fight was scheduled for this summer. However, according to Jones, Stipe asked for a few months to be fully prepared, and Bones agreed. Bones revealed in a tweet that Miocic could fight in September.
“Stipe says it will be at its absolute peak in September. I’m disappointed but patient, I want the heavyweight goat at her absolute best. I’ll wait until September. No excuses.”
