Fatal Car Crash: 11-year-old girl among three dead in single-vehicle crash near Grafton

An 11-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy have died with a man in a car crash on the north coast of New South Wales.

Three people were traveling in a double-cab utility when it went off the road around 9:30 p.m. Saturday night and crashed into a tree on Kangaroo Creek Road at Coutts Crossing, about 30km south of Grafton.

The driver, a 43-year-old man, and two passengers, a 14-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl, died at the scene.

Coffs-Clarence Police District officers set up a crime scene and began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the coroner’s information.

While the investigation continues, anyone with dashcam footage or further information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
