Fastest RBs in Madden 23

Similar to the wide receiver position, a quick running back can be an advantage. Yes, other categories as much if not more. But speed still plays a big role in football when it comes to breaking away from opposing defenders. Now that Madden 23 is out, we have a chance to find out which players have the highest ratings, including running back position. So which running backs are on top? Let’s take a look.

Fastest RBs in Madden 23

Here are the top ten RBs in Madden NFL 23, ranked by fastest speed:

  2. Viking HB Kene Nwangwu (94 speed)
  3. Stallions HB Jonathan Taylor (94 Speed)
  4. Seahawks HB Kenneth Walker III (93 speed)
  5. Vikings HB Ty Chandler (93 speed)
  6. Free Agent HB Nathan Cottrell (93 Speed)
  7. Cowboys HB Tony Pollard (93 speed)
  8. Titans HB Derrick Henry (93 speed)
  9. Giants HB Matt Breida (93 speed)
  10. Free Agent Tyreik McAllister (92 Speed)

Tyreik McAllister wasn’t the only back with 92 speed in Madden 23. Several others, highlighted by Jaguar’s back Travis Etienne, Nyheim Hines, Nick Chubb and Saquon Barkley also have 92 speed.

The Miami Dolphins not only have the fastest wide receiver in Madden 23, they also have the fastest running back. Former 49ers back Raheem Mostert has a 95 speed rating, which sets him apart from the rest of the pack.

Other notable names also in the top ten include one of Mostert’s former teammates in Matt Breida, Tony Pollard, All-Pro running back Jonathan Taylor, and one of the 2,000-yard club members in Derrick Henry. Henry punishes opponents with his power, but he also has a lot of speed. Henry received a speed rating of 93, which ties him with five other backs in Madden NFL 23.
