Farmer Wants A Wife 2022: Dylan’s blunt confession shocks Paige

This season of Farmer Wants a Wife, Paige seemed to form a nice bond with carpenter Dylan, but was it mutual?

She was getting no obvious signals from him that he was keen and had begun to wonder if she needed to be a little more open with him.

The perfect opportunity presented itself when all the farmers and their partners got together for an overnight camping trip.

Paige decided to take Dylan aside for a chat to see if he felt the same feelings for her that she was beginning to feel for him.

But the answer he gave wasn’t exactly what she expected.

“Is it a friendship where we get along really, really well, but then do I try to make something else out of it because that’s what we’re here for?” he wondered aloud when she told him she liked him.

“Or do we really get along really well and there just wasn’t enough time?”

A little confused by that response, Paige said, “I think, quite frankly, do you feel a connection growing, or do you feel like there is?”

Barely skipping a beat, Dylan admitted, “I fight.”

“I don’t know if you’re supposed to have something bang bang in here,” he said, pressing his fist to his heart.

“I haven’t; it doesn’t.

“I do not know.”

Surprised by Dylan’s honest, if somewhat blunt, response, Paige said in a later interview, “That really got me. That hurts.”

“How do you think it goes?” she asked Dylan, but he didn’t seem to know how to answer.

A little shocked, Paige went to Harry and Benjamin and told them what just happened to Dylan.

Benjamin said that if he were in the same position, he would have to ask himself if this person should still be in the running to win their heart.

“If I were to say to someone, ‘I really like you,’ and the first reaction was nothing, I would have to ask myself … is it really worth their being here?” he said.

Harry said that Dylan might need a little more time to open up or connect with her.

“I really want her to find the one,” Harry said of Paige in a separate interview.

“I sort of bet on Dylan because it seemed like they hit it off from the start.”

Despite the setback, Paige said she’s not ready to give up looking for love just yet.

But will it be with Dylan?

“I’m really disappointed that in this situation I kind of got to the point where maybe no one cares about me and I don’t connect with anyone,” she said.

“Finding the love that everyone calls all-encompassing is pretty rare.

“I think realistically, I knew it was going to be hard to find love.

“But I had really high hopes that it would happen here.”
