Wednesday’s big 13 matchday standings have delivered plenty of impressive performance. Several fantasy stars made some of their best stat lines of the season. Three players crossed 40 points, and three players scored impressive triple-doubles. Luka Doncic, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Trae Young are among the most famous of the crop, but we’ve identified another trio of studs along with busts.
Let’s take a look at some of Wednesday’s best and worst performances and take a look at the ideal roster addition for Week 14.
We talked about Jokic this week, but he keeps leveling up. On Wednesday, the Nuggets big star scored 49 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists against the Clippers. The defending MVP hit three straight doubles while averaging 30.3 points, 13.7 rebounds and 12.3 assists. Only Giannis Antetokounmpo can match this year’s top Fantasy artist at this point.
Embiid put together one of his all-time great performances against Magic on Monday. The Sixers superstar picked up 50 points and 12 rebounds in just 27 minutes. Embiid shot almost 74% from the field and made 15 of his 17 free throws in the competition. Last year’s MVP runner-up is doing all it can to keep Philly going, and the Sixers are on a winning streak with four straight wins.
Tyrese Haliburton has missed the last two Kings games, and Davis has filled in a point guard in a spectacular fashion. The former Raptor player totaled 35 points, six rebounds and three assists against the Pistons on Wednesday and has averaged 21 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. competed through three matches without Haliburton in the lineup. He could end Week 14 high against the Bucks on Saturday before Haliburton returns next week.
While the Pistons were drawing 1-1 in Week 14, Cunningham was really terrible for the Pistons. Detroit’s much-coveted rookie has averaged 10.5 points shooting 38.9% in his previous two games. Cunningham scored just two rebounds and four assists in that span. It was a huge disappointment for a major defender who is said to be a statistics page crammed.
It didn’t take long for Olynyk to become a major influence for the Pistons after his return from two months out. On Wednesday, the Pistons’ fourth stretch scored 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists in 22 minutes against the Kings and helped the Pistons secure a narrow win. He shot 8 to 17 from the pitch. Olynyk got past Isaiah Stewart and Trey Lyles in a matter of minutes and is sure to overtake them both thanks to his good attacking ability. Most of Fantasy’s managers didn’t keep him when he injured his knee in November, so you can free him from the immunity rope.
