Two IPL Royals will compete against each other on Tuesday evening. the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) battle who is the real king at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. After winning the toss, RCB captain Faf du Plessis opted to bat first and his bowlers didn’t let him down.
For RCB, new-ball pairing David Willey and Mohammed Siraj got off to a flying start, with Willey Yashasvi sending off Jaiswal in his first over. Akash Deep also complemented the two bowlers well as his disciplined bowling created opportunities. Because of that excellent bowling, RCB limited RR’s score to 35/1 in the first six overs.
But after the power play, the RR duo ended Devdutt Padikkal and Jos Buttler began to find boundaries and hit fast runs. But things got interesting when Harshal Patel was thrown into the fray. Last season, RCB’s top bowler kept the batters at bay with his beautiful bowling. He also ended Padikkals and Buttler’s stand for half a century.
Padikkal was fired for slower delivery. But that wasn’t the most fascinating part. This wicket was unique in that it came from an extra delivery ordered bowling by umpire Harshal Patel. Prior to that delivery, Harshal Patel had thrown a slower bouncer that was given wide by the onfield referee, forcing Patel to throw an extra bowl.

Royal Challengers Bangalore would regret their bowling efforts after the death when Jos Buttler and Shimron Hetmyer drove the Rajasthan Royals to 169/3 in 20 overs. Jos Buttler hit an unbeaten 70 in their Indian Premier League game on Tuesday to beat the Rajasthan Royals 169-3 against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Buttler, sent to bat, anchored the innings from start to finish, hitting six sixes in his 47-ball knock while Shimron Hetmyer (42 not out) and Devdutt Padikkal (37) also made valuable contributions. For RCB, Wanindu Hasaranga (1/32), Harshal Patel (1/18) and David Willey 1/29 each took a wicket.
