Explosion of Geelong diving school’s compression canister leaves one man seriously injured

A man was seriously injured after a pressure tank exploded at a diving school in Victoria.

At around 5.15pm on Wednesday, emergency services were called to the blast at the Melbourne Road site in the Geelong suburb of Drumcondra.

A pressure vessel inside the store is believed to have exploded.

The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
