Then there’s the nausea, caused by Pittsburgh’s 17 unanswered points in the fourth quarter that leaves Los Angeles behind. But joy is the last feeling when Justin Herbert fight Mike Williams for a 53-yard strike, winning the game with 2:09 to start. Herbert had a total of 472 yards in the win with three touchdowns, while Austin Ekeler Score four points (two rush, two get). It’s a positive sign as the Chargers averaged 16.7 points in their last three losses. The defense still has a lot of work to do when scoring 31.8 points compared to the previous 6 games. However, Los Angeles opened as the 2.5-point favorite in Denver. The charger is 3-1 on the way against the spread.

Whatever momentum the Broncos established in wins over Washington and Dallas was wiped out in a 30-13 loss to Philadelphia two weeks ago. After Denver finished the game with a 10 in the second half, the Eagles scored 20 of the game’s final 23 points. The Broncos only converted to third on a one-time loss and went 1/5 in the red zone. Denver is only 1-4 ahead of the spread as an underdog, but maybe a defense of the Sponge Chargers can get Teddy Bridgewater and offense back on track.
