After losing to his opponent twice in a row, the former flyweight competitor was fired from the UFC.
He then initially received his contract with the UFC after beating Allan Nascimento at DWCS in 2018. However, the UFC has recently parted ways with ten of its fighters and Paiva was one of them.
Despite his short UFC career, he has had some spectacular victories over his opponents, with a record of 26-21-5. His last match was on June 25, 2022 against Sergey Morozov, which he lost.
