Ex-UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway makes return at UFC fight night against Arnold Allen

At a time when legends like Jose Aldo are retiring and Francis Ngannou is parting ways with the UFC, one legend is set to return straight back to the Octagon. Max ‘Blessed’ Holloway suffered a disappointing loss in the third game against Alexander Volkanovski and went on a break. Now he’s planning a comeback with a fight between Max Holloway and Arnold Allen.

‘Blessed’ has fought and defeated quite a few of the great contenders from the bantamweight/featherweight/lightweight divisions. He’s not the young and hungry boxer he used to be, he can’t maneuver his body like he used to, but the experience he’s gained through all those years of bloody brawls still gets him fights against the top shooters his division.

His rival Alexander says of him: “I still think he was a great champion. I still think he’s a great fighter and I still think he beats most top guys. We have a very strong division, a lot of guys moving up. And of course everyone is going to develop more and more just by watching me fight and some of the top guys fight.

He further added, “So I have a feeling you’re going to start seeing these other guys that are rising, really starting to rise up there. But I still think that Max – it wasn’t Max that went down, it was me literally finding him out and just going to another level.

When does Max Holloway vs Arnold Allen take place?

The current date for The Max and Allen’s matchup is April 15 at a UFC Fight Night event. Arnold is currently on an 11-fight win streak and could be the next contender for the title after the Volkanovski vs. Makhachev fight.

We hope to see Holloway back healthy and in top form.
