Everything we saw at the big Resident Evil Showcase

Today Capcom hosted another digital showcase dedicated to all things resident Evil. Previously, the publisher had done something similar back in June and in front of it April 2021. As in these cases, Capcom used the event to show off new trailers and gameplay footage from the upcoming one resident Evil projects, like Resident Evil 4‘s remake.

Here’s everything Capcom announced and showed off during today’s event was about 30 minutes long. You can also watch the entire presentation below.

A new trailer for The Winters expansion

Capcom kicked off the show with a new trailer for what’s to come Resident Evil Village DLC expansion that includes a new storytelling campaign starring Ethan’s daughter Rose. The developers also shared more background on Rose and why they decided to make her the star of village‘s new story expansion.

The Extension of Winter– which can be purchased separately or as part of a larger one Resident Evil Village Gold Edition Pack – also includes a new third-person mode for the main campaign and new content for the game’s action-packed Mercenaries mode, where you can even play as Lady Dimitrescu herself. (Even though it will be shorter nowin one of the biggest disappointments of 2022.)

All of this will be released on October 28th, 2022 for all major platforms.

multiplayer shooter Resident Evil Re: Vers Out later this month

Although I’m not very excited to play it, the online shooter is Resident Evil Re: Vers still comes out on October 28th. It will be free for all owners of Resident Evil Villagee or Resident Evil Village Gold Edition. Capcom announced full crossplay support and revealed new gameplay with locations and characters village.

Capcom says it has plans to update this game several times and even present a streetMap with new content coming to the game after launch. There will also be an Early Access period for everyone starting October 24th village Owner.

Resident Evil Village Past games are coming to Mac and getting Nintendo Switch Cloud versions

Capcom also announced the release date for new cloud versions of Resident Evil Village, RE7, RE2 Reissue, and RE3 reissue come to Nintendo Switch. She had previously announced that these ports were a work in progress, but now we know when to play it.

All games will have demos so people can see how well they are streaming their internet Connection. RE2The cloud version of will be released on November 11th this year. Thereafter, RE3 Hits on November 18th, and finally, RE7 lands on December 16, 2022.

Resident Evil Village also makes the jump to Macs on October 28, with the Winters’ Expansion DLC at a later, unannounced date.

New gameplay by Resident Evil 4 Remake, pre-orders begin

Capcom has previously promised more gameplay footage of the upcoming remake, and it really is handed it over during the event. In the footage we see what appears to be a redesigned version of the opening section of RE4including the iconic village sequence and the cool moment when Leon jumps out the window like an action star. Even the creepy chainsaw man showed up to ruin Leon’s day. Yes, I will buy this game again.

Capcom also released a brand-New cinematic trailer featuring Ada, Ashley and other scenes from iconic moments in the game like naval combat.

You can pre-order now Resident Evil 4 Remake on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC starting today, with different versions coming with different goodies. In a very nice move, Capcom says people who buy the game on PS4 can upgrade to the PS5 version for free. This new remake will be released on March 24, 2023.
