Everything announced at Showcase 2022 by Stray Publisher Annapurna Interactive

The past year has been a good one for publisher Annapurna Interactive, who have enjoyed success with developer Ben Esposito neon whitefollowed by BlueTwelve’s breakout cat game Stray. Annapurna is now looking forward to what’s next, focusing on the list of upcoming games during Thursday’s annual Annapurna Interactive Showcase.

Over the course of half an hour, Annapurna Interactive has detailed some of its previously announced games such as: indulgence and Thirsty admirersalongside announcements for new games from players like Keita Takahashi and Kentucky Route Zero Developer Cardboard Computers.

Thirsty admirers

Thirsty admirers Developer Outerloop Games opened the Annapurna Interactive Showcase by demonstrating how the game’s combat and narrative work together through an innovative battle scene. Thirsty admirers is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. A demo is now available on Steam. It will be in Game Pass at launch.

indulgence

indulgenceout plum Developer Joel McDonald, will be available on August 4th via Steam for Apple iOS, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.

New cardboard computer game

Kentucky Route Zero Developer Cardboard Computer is working with Annapurna Interactive on a new game. No major details have been announced – just that it’s happening and will be livelier.

Bounty Star: The Grumpy Story of Graveyard Clem

This was announced by the developer Dinogod Bounty Star: The Grumpy Story of Graveyard Clem. It is a mech fighter with farming and base building and is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. It is expected in 2023.

New game by Yarn Owl

Annapurna Interactive announced a new partnership with Yarn Owl, a new studio based in Texas and Georgia. The two developers met on Twitch and are now working on their debut game.

Outer Wilds To update

Outer Wilds is still coming to Nintendo Switch, but it’s taking longer than expected. However, the game is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on September 15th. It’s free for players who already own the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

An eternity ago

German studio Third Shift is working on a road trip game starring an elderly man. It’s called an eternity ago and it looks lovely.

By Hollow Ponds and Richard Hogg who recently worked on it Hohocum and I’m dead, herd is a game in which you fly and collect friends. It’s coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

New Keita Takahashi game

Keita Takahashi and his studio Uvula are collaborating with Annapurna Interactive on a mysterious new game.

New Dreamfeel game

Annapurna Interactive highlighted the work of if found… developer Dreamfeel who is working on a new game where all characters are cats.

The Lost Wilderness

Annapurna Interactive will publish the dinosaur survival game by Great Ape Games The Lost Wilderness. It will surely come to Windows PC via Steam, but console announcements will come later.

Hohocum

Hohocumfrom developer Honeyslug, is now available on Windows PCs via Steam.

What remains of Edith Finch

Acclaimed indie game What remains of Edith Finch is available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in 4K and now runs at 60 frames per second. It’s free for people who own the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.
