Clearview Library
Drop off your already read reading materials and pick up some new ones when the bookmobile makes a stop at 3 p.m. Monday at Founders Green Park, 1201 Grand Ave. in Windsor. All ages are invited to come and see what the bookmobile has to offer.
Join the library for Sea Stories at 4 p.m. Monday at the Windsor High School Auditorium, 1100 Main St. The Story Bakers will be bringing sea-themed stories to life through short skits written by students in the Clearview Homeschooler’s Academy. Getting Crafty: Beach Scene with Handprint Crabs is set to take place at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the library, 720 3rd St., Windsor. Better Than The Movie Book Club is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the outdoor greenspace at the library, 720 3rd St., Windsor. Storytime with ASL with Miss Christy will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the large meeting room at the library, 720 3rd St., Windsor. Teens ages 12-18 are invited to join the Windsor Lake Scavenger Hunt at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Boardwalk Park, 100 N. 5th St., Windsor. The library and the Town of Windsor Museums have created a fun and challenging hunt that will take teens through history using the water, sand and sun. High Plains Library
The Funny Bits: A Guide to Writing Satire- Writer’s Workshop is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Carbon Valley Regional Library, 7 Park Ave., Firestone. The library district’s writer in residence, Rob Walker, will be teaching adults and teens the skills for crafting satire for the internet as well as how to write a script in 10 pages or less.
