Erin Andrews on Tom Brady: ‘He’s My Inspiration’

Renowned sportscaster Erin Andrews has shared why legendary quarterback Tom Brady is an inspiration to pioneers in their 40s.

When Tom Brady retired, it sent a shockwave through the NFL. Patriotic fans cry. Every fan is shunned by his strength delight. And Erin Andrews wishes she could interview him after the endless ad game.

Andrews told FanSided of Brady’s retirement: “It’s a silly thing. “I was really vocal about that. I don’t want it to happen. I mean, everyone says, ‘Okay, let’s move on’, but no, I love having him around. “

Andrews has a unique place to appreciate Brady’s success: the 44-year-old midfielder is nine months older than the main Fox reporter.

“I haven’t said this anywhere, but he’s 44, I’m 43. You know how bad it is to cheer someone up to make the mid-40s look so good and so fresh? Good for you! Like, don’t leave. Any. He is my inspiration.”

While Brady appeared in the Super Bowls, Andrews was making significant career changes of his own. She began as a freelance reporter for Fox Sports Florida in 2000, joined ESPN in 2004, then transferred to Fox in 2012. Currently, she serves as the lead assistant reporter for Fox’s NFL broadcasting team, Press partner to Brady’s success. But as the years passed and the awards increased, people questioned both Brady and Andrews as they hung it up.

Back in 2018, Brady told former team-mate Rodney Harrison that was suspected early in his career make him keep playing. “Now it’s like, ‘Wait a minute – The current Do you guys want me to stop playing? ‘ No, this is when Me have fun. Brady, then 41, went on to win two more Super Bowls after that interview.

Andrews has faced similar questions as an integral component of the NFL on FOX broadcasts.

“I am older in the industry. People were like, “Oh, how long do you want to do this?”, Andrews said. “What do you mean? Tom Brady’s 44-time Super Bowls win. Come on. That’s another reason I don’t want him gone.”

“It’s enough about you, about me,” Andrews joked. “Let’s do this together. What’s happening? ”

Andrews, who grew up in the Tampa Bay area and used to broadcast from Raymond James Stadium during his high school internship, believing Brady had another ring on him if he decided to come back.

“He could have won another award for anyone,” said Andrews.

“I am selfish. It was a pleasure to protect him. I love conference calls with him. I love seeing how his other teammates react to him, it’s great. ”

Andrews respects Brady’s decision to build a post-football brand as he develops his newly launched eponymous clothing line, BRADYas well as an NFT joint venture in Signature.

“Despite continuing to play, I respect his decision. I want him to stay with his family. I know he has other avenues to explore business-wise so… No, forget that, let’s go back. What are you doing? Why are you doing this to me?”
